My 9 years old Childhood

I believe that everyone's time in their primary school time was quite fun right? Well, I had one fun one too but not only it was fun, it was weird too.

Like every kid in Malaysia, I goes to the school in my bus and go class but there's something extra in my daily agenda which is kena cane. haha funny rite? Well, I am very lazy since I was Std1 untill now, never really touched my homeworks or school books and that time I am really the pain in the ass for all the teachers. But no matter how painful it is, I still go on as a happy go lucky kid as I do things I desire. Most of the teachers gave up on me while there are a few who kept trying. Then there is this replacement teacher from Johor which is called Mr Wong, he is a nice guy but he can really inflict pain on others with his faithful cane. haha but then things changes one day........

I was having tuition near my house on that one fine day but I was there very early as my house is very near and so i embarked on a journey across the road to get myself some treats of candy which put my fellow classmates in a difficult situation which is "to buy or not to buy?" then i proudly volunteer myself to help them because they are afraid of cars. As i was crossing the road suddenly there is this one cute One tonne lorry who failed to see the tiny me at the beginning. Althought he stepped on the break hard enough but I still got hit and flew 6ft and landed right infront of the clinic and I realise that I might be dying because I don really feel pain and I thought my whole body is numbed. And weird things happen when the good'ol policemans appear like 1minute after me getting hit and bring me into the clinic but then they did not carry me the proper way la.. what if i broke my neck? will die one you know? But I still need to thank them for saving my life. Then i see the doctor and he smiled to me and say;

Doc : What is your name boy?
Me : Dannie
Doc : Do you feel any pain?
Me : No wor, but my toe hurts
Doc : *meraba here and there* Here pain or not?
Me : Not pain wor...
Doc : Then i settle your toe first la.. the skin came off..
Me : Doctor don pull ok? very painful u know? *pushing him away*
Doc : its ok one la.. *cuts using scisorrs and wrap with bandage* ok la.. you can go home already this time free for you.
Me : wah.. doctor you so good wor.. don tell my parents ok?
Doc : ok.. I wont tell your parents.

Then my tuition teacher get me from the clinic and I also begged her not to tell my parents when she was sending me home. And so I went back home and tell my mom that i fell down and she believes it until that smart driver bring the policeman and visit me to check whether I was ok or not. There goes my perfect plan and my mom ended up crying and all, then i apologize and promise I wont do that again. Finally, my punishment is being barred from crossing the road alone for 3 whole years.

Lesson learnt is:
  • Do not hide any unfortunate events from your parents, it hurts them more when they canot share with you.
  • Do not give your address to some evil doctor who eventually gives it to the policeman
  • Look to your left and then right and left again before you cross the road.

Movie Marathon at Cineleisure

Went to Cineleisure on Sunday with Jenn Wei with the hope of going to break the Guiness World of Records of movie marathon for 72 hours non stop. We reached there at 11am and saw a line of people and I got worried as i might not be able to get the tix but Jenn Wei say sure can, so I go ahead and try my luck but then at the end of the day where the registration started I was number 102. I can feel the world coming on to me at that moment but then i can still see lights of home when there is one tix left and the person ahead of me is a pair of couple. *fingers crossed all the way* but then the girl sacrificed for the guy and let him have the tix while she sleeps at home when her bf suffers at the cinema alone. Oh well, fated already as i cannot get my hand on those tix. But Jenn Wei got his tix as he went register a day earlier with Benjamin and Lester. Best of luck to you guys and hopefully u guys can last till the end and treat me with your Rm10000 reward. sigh.. it was like gloomy sunday man.. but its ok.. next time we organize one more and break their record but need to find sponsors la.. haha
signing off.. ciao

Sleepy day

Just realised something very sad thanks to Michelle, Qian Hui, Isaac and Koku. They told me that I have been sleeping in every single class there is. I was like so shocked to hear that lorr, honestly speaking I did concentrate in class but the problem is the room is too warm(warm = perfect temperature to fall asleep) and sometimes certain lecturers is too boring lor. Not my fault right? I have been listening to their lessons while in sleep also unless it's deep sleep mode la... The only lesson that I did not sleep at all is actually LAN!!!! Unbelieveable?? But it is actually thanks to me for sitting under the air-cond port or something.. damn cooling lorr.. Stayed up till class ended.. haha

But then, after class I am damn semangat to do everything, I even added weight in gym for my legs work out. And still I dont feel tired at all after that, walked around before heading back with my aching thighs and hamstring. But then cannot achieve optimum result as I cannot take Amino Acid and protein shake this time because I am having sore throat lorr.. If i take Amino's then it will worsen my condition.. *sigh* have to drink alot of "wong lou kat leong cha" damn bitter lorr.. But gotta tahan till I finish the last drop or else it will not work wor.. that is what the aunty at the leong cha shop told me la..

Oh well, since there's assignments to be prepared then I better go get my hands on them before it is too late. Lots of compliments to my evil self for making me lazy and not to forget our beloved tradition of completing stuffs last minute. Ciao

Paths we will be taking very soon

While I was gazing into the blue sky in the morning, I talked to myself and asked why do we have to do so many things against our own will? Is it really our responsibility or it was merely an order? Although we are usually reluctant to do so but we were given no choice. How sad?

I once saw a quote saying that "The path in front is always the easiest but you will never find yourself if you never take another path"

I did not understand it till today, we were stepping on the path that our parents prepared for us by doing what they want us to do but do we actually have the courage to take another path on ourselves and face unknown outcome? I believe we do learn from mistakes we made but could the lesson to much to be handled by us?

I was lucky to choose the path myself with my parents supporting me all the time but how about those who did not have the chance to make a choice? Everyone keeps saying that the world is not fair. But I believe that it is fair and no doubt about it, the theories of Tao actually tells us that everything happens in a circle. Everything changes and the only thing that remained unchanged is the fact that nothing stops changing. Therefore, fear not my friends, whatever u lose today, will be your gain one day.

Being the only son actually helps me thinks alot as I have nobody to share my thoughts with. As I am always making noise in class it does not means that I did it to get attention. Attentions to me, there are not wanted.. haha a little attention is good but too much is not really nice. I like to talk to certain people at times but sometimes I would rather keep quiet and think and understand the book I read earlier. Recently, I read a book from Adeline Yen Ma which is quite good as it really touches my heart and help me understands life the easy way. Don't wanna elaborate it here, gonna read it for a few more times as I actually discover new things as I read.

Oh dear, tomorrow is PR midterm and I have yet to open the book for a short revision. Ciao

Finally I am 20

Ahh.. Finally i reached the age of 20 where people of my age in certain coutries have already started working and getting their own family. But, now i am still studying and using my beloved parent's cash for my own survival. However, went to Woh Fung to have my dinner with my parents and another family friends of our's. Me and my mom actually shared the same birthday so lucky for my dad that he need not to bring us for some good dinners 2 times, he actually gets to save some good money man.. lol. Had some nice cakes tho.. it was strawberry mouse cake which quite good(not fattening) haha..

Then later that night, Gen Tak, Yeong Peng, Jun Guang Benjamin and also Jenn Wei followed me to Mong Kok but kena rejected because the whole SS2 blacked out and so the crowd floods Mong Kok and those HK styled cafe. Lucky for us that we manage to get a place at Quan Yi La Mian which is situated at those shop houses behind Murni. It's kinda new as it was a few days from it's opening. The food there sucked where GenTak actually refused to eat the noodle he ordered while I gotta eat something which i did not order. Their service sucked big time as their waiter did not know what was the drinks they served and they got some old captain that dunno how to take orders.

Then Jun Guang and Benjamin gotta go as they both gotta work the next day. Then we head to ESC to look for Jun Wei and Shyung they all as Jun Wei is working there while Shyung and gang is his customer. Did not stay there for long as there were no comps left for us. Then now feeling sleepy already. Not a bad birthday after all, my good'ol TARC friends coming to celebrate with me. =P

Italy vs France

Wow.. it was totally unbelieveable as the final match of the World Cup can be so boring. I actually fell asleep while watching. The first half was entertaining as Zidane scored the first goal via penalty from a dive by No.7 France but they did not laugh for long as Italy leveled after a header by Materazzi on the 19th minute. But that was it, nothing much happened after that other that a another similiar header by Materazzi but it was saved by Barthez.

Then it was second half where I started falling asleep occasionally until the red card by Zidane for headbutting someone. Man, that was so stupid of him to do that during the match atleast do it later la.. Cis.. Because of him getting sent off which means France's midfield is weaken as Viera was sub'ed. Thanks to Italy's power defence, extra time was granted and we gotta proceed to penalty shoot out as the extra time was boring as hell.

Buffon was unlucky as he could not save any shots but thanks to a blunder by Trezeguet as the ball hits the crossbar. ngek ngek ngek.. But Barthez's arms were too short to save any shots. Lol but it was a happy ending for most of us as we wanted Italy to win.

Thanks to the match, I did not sleep today as I gotta get myself a parking. Fell asleep in everybody's class and I am feeling guilty already. haha Now feeling sleepy again.. haha till then, Ciao

Neway Karaoke at One Utama New Wing

Ah, after class today I went to One Utama to sing some song at the new Neway Karaoke thingy. I heard from my gym mate which is one of the renovator/carpenter who is working there, he described the place as if it is a palace or haven for any karaoke lover. So i gave it a try by asking my dear friends Gen Tak and Yeong Peng along to look at it. So after having lunch at PJ with my uni mates and we head straight to One Utama. But got stucked in the freakin jam and manage to reach there at 1347hours So we missed the lunch hour but took up the Happy Hour package instead at Rm22++ each. As a result of it, we are entitled to a set of lunch and a cup of drink. There were many choices for lunch such as Grilled Unagi Bento, Baby octopus salad, BBQ chicken pizza, and lots more because I cant really remember all of it as there are too many. Meanwhile their drinks have really fancy names such as Endless Love(a mixture of F&N strawberry and some unknown ingredients), Only You(another mixture of Ribena and some unknown ingredients), Neway's Specialty(a mixture of honew dew syrup and milk i think) and some others which i doubt the quality. But, I believe Karaoke go-ers don't go there just because of good foods.

Not only that the foods are great but the atmosphere and the design of the rooms are magnificent. As told by my informer, there are around 70 rooms there or maybe 100 I cant remember with different themes each. Some is decorated with KL's night view and coloured theme, I guess you have to look at it yourself one by one to find out. Inside each rooms there are 34inches LCD screens and for big rooms they have 42inches Plasma screens to satisfy your needs. Not only the screens are nice, there are even toilets in every room, really clean toilets with everything you need(mirrors, toilet bowls, soap dispenser and TOILET PAPERS!). No doubt that Neway has one of the best facilities that any karaoke fans needs.

Other than facilities, room services are not bad but they are a little slow if your room is situated on another floor and their staffs are limited as I only see quite a few of them doing orders and getting bills. They explains everything from payments to lunch menu and drinks specialty. It is some good customer service compare to some other karaoke operators in the Klang Valley.

The payments are reasonable, good services and fine facilities, and also some good food(not microwaved). What more can you expect from a karaoke operator? So, for those who lives around Damansara and Petaling Jaya, you need not to go Bukit Bintang or Cheras to let your voices be heard.

World Cup dillemas

Look, this is Arsenal's new jersey for season 2006/2007. As the new stadium is being sponsored by Fly Emirates so I guess Arsenal will be using this jersey for some time. It is kinda ironic as i dislikes Chelsea who bears Fly Emirates on their jersey before Samsung took over. Oh well, money matters the most in the football world this days. I still prefer the o2 jersey more than this Fly Emirates jersey. But if you want to compare with Manchester United, I believe Arsenal's jersey looks alot alot better than MU's. With the big big "AIG" hanging on their chest, it looks very weird as it seems they had their chest insured by AIG.

1 month ago, the World Cup started and everybody was exited because the World Cup is only happening once every 4 years. This time, I believe everybody had fun watching 20 fellas chasing over a ball and 2 more waiting to catch the ball. It is quite boring this time around as there are only European countries involved in the Final and third placing match. No more samba style football in the final anymore. And i am in the dillema as I supported Italy ever since I knew about football but I like Thierry Henry as he is from Arsenal. It is hard to choose who I wanted to win. But as for third place, i support Germany this time because i believe they worked hard to earn a place meanwhile Portugal played some rough game which I dont really like as football is suppose to be healthy and not to injure anyone during the process. I pity those refs as they have to cope with harsh temperature and also harsh players.

Most of the matches ended up in penalty shoot outs and the process is really boring. I actually fall asleep while watching England plays with Portugal. England really sucked at penalty shooting while Portugal is good at saving penalties. However, I am actually looking forward to the next World Cup in South Africa in four years time. Hopefully it wont be as boring as the present World Cup.

Those Days

Do you remember those days where we used to walk inside the school while holding hands, and not to forget the game of Pepsi Cola and some Power Ranger and Cybercop games. Then there was this canteen aunty that like to laugh when we were pushing each one and other to get our hands of our chee cheong funs. Then we will go to the field and play some ball whether it was ping pong, basketball or football. Then when it's graduation, we hugged each other with tears flowing down our cheeks promising that we wont forget each other. Till then, we finished the first phase of our education.

After a few months rotting at home, we walked into teenage phase where we begin our second phase of education at a high school. We step into Samad as kids wearing their sexy green shorts where our seniors looked so tall. Then we join clubs and society where we knew more friends and had lots of fun. Then we saw kids with sexy green shorts looking at us from below. The smile the seniors once had, appeared on our face. Those were the days where memories were saved. At our final year in high school, we were holding post that we never thought we would be helding. We have people looking up to us and also people looking down on us. We survived and proved ourselves right, where you can see friends around us with their tears and laughter surrounding us. And then. it was graduation once more, tears were no longer seen but it was the heart who bleeds to see friends of 5years atleast to leave. Promises were made once more and gatherings will be organized in the near future.

Then it was University and College now, we got separated but the circle of friends grew bigger. A mix of culture from here and there, we have a new culture, a culture of our own. We went around but memories never fades. Seeing each other reminds us of what fun we used to have, what frustration we used to suffer, and not forgetting those pain that the discipline dudes inflicted on our sexy butts. *lol* To my dear friends, reading this might not provoke any memories on you, but it does to me.

Those were the days.

The First Post

Ahh..finally i have a blog of my own but sadly i do not know what to say in my own blog. Even after reading blogs from KennySia, XiaXue and other well known bloggers then I realise that having a blog isnt so bad after all. Atleast my blog will be the place where i release all the stress that build up during the day.

To start the first blog in my life, guess I will just say what happen today.
At 3a.m. it was Germany VS Italy in the World Cup semifinal and alot of people actually expects Germany to win but Italy went against the odds when Grosso and Del Piero scored during extra time. The goal was magnificent as everyone was expecting the extra time to end very soon and the penalty shootings will decide who is the winner of the match.
Went to Murni to watch the match with Ming Yang and Alfred eventhough class is at 8a.m. which means no sleep for me if i want to get myself a place to park. And the class is conducted by our beloved Mrs. Fatimah(LAN subject lecturer) which is funny but the subject she was teaching basically is the best hypnotiser Malaysia educators ever created. Even after Nicholas get me an expresso from the cafetaria, I still fall asleep during the class and it is actually very disrespectful to our beloved Mrs. Fatimah. I actually felt guilty about it.. see I am good boy after all. hehe

And to add salt and pepper to the wound, me, Ming Yang and Alfred will be hitting the uni's gym at 3p.m. sharp as part of our weekly sport activities to shed off some unwanted materials. hehe.. I was as blur as a sotong during the whole day and did not know where i was heading all the time. The work out sucked eventually as none of us had enough rest to perform and lift weights. But we did manage to play squash which i do not know how to play at all(thanks to Roxana for helping us to get the racquet and the black rubber ball) it was fun but it is not as easy as I think because it requires lots of stamina to run around the court.

As usuall after gym, we head out to Murni once again to have our dinner and our beloved Jumbo Juice hehe too bad my phone takes blurry pics and it fails to transfer to my comp. or else you guys will be able to have a good look how juicy and delicious it is. *drools* Makes me hungry just by thinking of it. I like the garlic cheese naans Murni sold, so nice and the aroma conqueres my heart and soul. hahaha..

Now i am thinking of the Portugal VS France match tomorrow which is only 5hours from now. I suppose that it is ok as the class for Thursday is in the evening and not in the morning, means I can have quality sleeps before heading for class tomorrow. But Ming Yang went to clubbing and I wonder if he is terror enough to stay awake and Alfred too. Arghhhh... if i stayed up to watch again means I stayed up for more than 48hours in a row without sleep. That is not good and not healthy at all.

As i was visiting Sue Ling's blog, I found out that her blog is nice and Yee Mei's blog is also nice too. I wonder how they make it so nice. I don't really know what and how to do it. Don't even know how to link up their blogs by typing it here. Geezz.. I really sucked in this. God help me. Oh, as I was reading Sue Ling's blog, it reminds me of UTAR Ball 2006 which turns out to be a good experience for everyone of us. We had fun but there's also bad things happen during the process that spoils our mood and breaks our spirit. But thank goodness everything turns out to be fine at the end of the day. Tooks some pics using Yee Mei's cam.*hehe*

That's all about today, too tired to continue tho..
