Chinese New Year
Gung Hei Fatt Choy!! and ofcourse HONG BAO COME COME!!~
Happy Chinese New Year to all my chinese friends and Happy Holidays for all my non chinese friends. Like every year, CNY are usually packed with families shopping for new year clothes, soft drinks, cookies, lokams and lots more which actually contributes to our economy! But this year everything seems slow in the year of Ju Zhai(piggy), not only the sales of new year goods but also the atmosphere. The CNY mood dont seems to kick in as it usually does but I do love the angpow giving ceremonies when I go a visit. And angpows seems to be lighter and I dont know why.
I didnt went back to Muar this year because have been going back quite often in the year 2006 due to sick grandmother and passed away grandaunt. Mom also got bored by going back so often but I do miss grandmother and grandaunt dearly as they never failed to shower me with their love and care everytime I goes back. But grandmother seems to be better and better but she got senile aka Lou Yan Chi Ngoi Zheng. She always thought that I am 5years old when I am 20 already.
Didnt gamble much this year as I dont wanna win too much and make people sad. *wink wink* But I did pay Gen Tak a visit finally after knowing him for so many years. We won some extra pocket money from one of his many aunt and she looked a lil sad when we didnt give her the chance to win us back. That's why I say better dont gamble so much because it inflicts the guilty feel in me when I win.
Oh well, now I am only waiting for the day we do Lou-Sang and see lion dance but then class is starting soon. Damn UTAR! but thank them for their low fees!
